Serving as one of President Barack Obama’s South Los Angeles campaign managers during Obama’s historical run for president of the United States, Ms. Daphne Bradford established a Culinary Arts partnership with the Culinary Arts Department at Dorsey High School.
Dorsey Culinary Arts students prepared daily nutritious lunch meals for faithful Obama volunteers during several crucial weeks of the Presidential campaign. Impressed with the culinary skills of the Dorsey students Mr. Bradford launched Cooking Live with Dorsey High, a web based cooking show featured on studentnewsdesk.com.
Cooking Live with Dorsey High chefs prepare various healthy meals and deserts for students, teachers and various community events.
